Shane has demonstrated exceptional dedication in conserving both time and funds for the district. He has tirelessly repaired the HVAC system in our BRT coaches, going above and beyond. Additionally, his pivotal role in maintaining our fuel cell coaches during station downtime has been invaluable. Shane consistently lends a helping hand, particularly in the upkeep of our zero-emission vehicles.

Operator Jesus recently earned a well-deserved Safety Award based on his hard work and focus on safety. In April, we received notice from OCC that Jesus went above and beyond his normal duties to help and support one of his fellow Operators in a tense situation. Per OCC Controller 73, “I can’t give the operator enough praise for his unselfish, heroic actions. People like him are a breath of fresh air and the reason why I enjoy working for AC Transit.”
