AC Transit Provides New Weekend Service Linking BART/Fremont with Ohlone College

New Line 328 bus service goes into operation beginning Sunday, December 9, to provide transit links on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays between the transit transfer center at BART Fremont Station and Ohlone College. To connect the transit center with the college, this new bus route will operate through Irvington via Paseo Padre Parkway, Grimmer Boulevard, Auto Mall Parkway/Durham Road, and Mission Boulevard. Along the way, points of interest served include Lake Elizabeth, Fremont Central Park, and several major retailers: Fry’s Electronics, Home Depot, REI-Fremont, and Tri-City sporting goods. Line 328 buses will operate every 60 minutes from about 6:30 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. weekends and holidays. This latest addition to the bus service network brings the number of local lines serving Fremont and Newark on Sundays to 11.
