The 2001-2010 Short Range Transit Plan (SRTP) describes goals, policies and strategies to help AC Transit meet the East Bay community’s transit needs within the District’s existing budget.

It also includes a “Strategic Vision” operating plan that would significantly increase service as well as increase ridership throughout the service area. This project is not funded. The “Strategic Vision” represents the District’s response to the Consent Decree entered into in the case of Bayview Hunters Point Community Advocates, et al. v. Metropolitan Transportation Commission(filed February 21, 2001) C-01-0750 TEH.
