Revised Route for Line 74 in Richmond

Press Releases
03/26/2002

AC Transit’s Line 74 buses will operate on a revised route in Richmond beginning Monday, April 1, to serve the municipality’s temporary city hall and the county offices on Hall Avenue near Marina Way South.

With this adjustment, Line 74 buses continue operating as scheduled in the current public timetable. But the new service route is to operate – in a one-way counterclockwise loop – via Cutting Boulevard, Wright Avenue and Harbour Way South to Hall Avenue and the municipal and county offices. The Line 74 buses will then continue via Marina Way South to Regatta Boulevard and the regular route.

Line 74, which makes connections with mainline transit at the Richmond BART Station, operates at 30 minute intervals from about 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on weekdays.

On weekends, Line 74 service continues via the current route until Sunday, April 14, when buses will begin operating via the new pattern using Cutting Boulevard, Wright Avenue and Harbour Way South to serve the city and county offices.
