Fremont & Newark Schedule Changes, Monday, Mar. 17

Bus schedules on five local lines serving Fremont and Newark will be adjusted beginning Monday, March 17, so that some weekday trips will operate later than usual.

New bus schedules, printed in pocket timetables now available from bus drivers and also posted on this Web site, are being introduced on:

  • Line 212 – BART/Fremont – Fremont Industrial Area. On weekdays, the first four trips from BART/Fremont will depart five minutes later than currently scheduled (new departure times are 5:40, 6:10, 6:40 and 7:10 a.m.) after which service operates according to current printed timetables. Trip times from the industrial area to BART, and weekend/holiday service schedules, remain unchanged.
  • Line 214 – BART/Fremont – Lido Faire. Weekday schedules will be adjusted so that after 9:00 a.m. trips from BART to NewPark and Lido Faire will operate five minutes later than in the current schedule. All day (6:07 a.m. until 8:24 p.m.) on weekdays, trips to BART/Fremont from Lido Faire will operate 11-13 minutes later than presently scheduled. No change in weekend/holiday schedules.
  • Line 217 – BART/Fremont – Milpitas. On weekdays, all trips will be operating four to seven minutes later than previously scheduled, with the span of service extending from shortly before 6:00 a.m. until after 8:50 p.m. No change in weekend/holiday schedules.
  • Line 232 – BART/Union City – Newark – Ohlone College. Weekday schedules will be adjusted so that northbound trips from the college will operate five minutes later than previously scheduled, within a span of service extending from 6:00 a.m. until 10: 0:00 p.m. daily. From Union City, southbound trips will operate as presently scheduled until 10:10 a.m., after which trips begin departing from BART five minutes later.
  • Line 234 – BART/Fremont – Warm Springs. On weekdays, trips will operate 10-11 minutes later than previously scheduled, with the spans of service extending from shortly before 6:00 a.m. until after 8:00 p.m. No change in weekend/holiday schedules.
