Cal Bears Service on Saturday

News Articles
10/27/2004

AC Transit offers shuttle service to Saturday’s Cal vs. Stanford football game. Some 50 buses will supplement regular Line 51 service, picking up fans from three locations–3rd Street & University Avenue, Berkeley BART, and Rockridge BART–and taking them to Memorial Stadium. Pre-game service starts at 8:30 a.m. from all locations and runs continuously until kick-off at 12:30 p.m.

After the game, fans headed for Rockridge BART may board buses along College Avenue and Durant Avenue. Fans headed for Berkeley BART or 3rd Street & University Avenue may board buses along Bancroft Way. Post-game shuttle service runs for at least 30 minutes to one hour after the game.

Regular AC Transit fares apply: $1.50 for adults (18-64); $ .75 for youth (5-17), seniors (65+), and people with certified disabilities.

(Note that regular Line 51 service also runs every 15 minutes throughout the day and evening to the same destinations.)

For more information, call 511 and say “AC Transit.”
