Decision on Transbay Tickets Again Postponed

On February 4,  the AC Transit Board of Directors held a public hearing to receive comments on the proposed elimination of transbay magnetic-strip (10-Ride and 31-Day) tickets on all transbay lines. More than 200 comments from the pubilc were received before and during the hearing.

At the Board’s February 25 meeting, and again at its March 11 meeting, staff requested additional time to research and consider options. Staff expects to make a recommendation to the Board at a future meeting, tentatively scheduled for early April.
