Buses Being Detoured in Downtown Oakland Due to Mehserle Demonstration

Please be advised that as of 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 12, the routes of several AC Transit bus lines serving downtown Oakland have been detoured around 14th & Broadway due to a demonstration in reaction to the upcoming release of Johannes Mehserle from Los Angeles County Jail.
The following is a complete listing of planned detours:
Line 1 and 1R to Bay Fair BART will serve regular stops on Telegraph Ave. at 24th St. and on 11th St. at Madison St., but not regular stops between those points. Lines 1 and 1r may also have rolling detours depending on the demonstration, which is moving from Fruitvale BART to downtown Oakland.
Line 11 to Piedmont will serve regular stops on 8th St. at Jackson St. and on Harrison St. at Grand Ave., but not regular stops between those points.
Line 11 to Lake Merritt BART (Sunday) and the Dimond District (Monday) will serve regular stops on Harrison St. at 21st St. and Oak St. at 8th St., but not regular stops between those points.
Line 12 to Berkeley BART will serve regular stops on 11th St. at Clay St. and on Broadway at 20th St., but not regular stops between those points.
Line 12 to downtown Oakland will serve regular stops on Broadway at W. Grand Ave. and layover on Jackson St. at 7th St.
Line 14 to Fruitvale BART will begin from 11th St. at Harrison St, but will not serve stops before that.
Line 14 to downtown Oakland will end at 12th at Harrison St. and layover on 11th St.
Line 18 to Albany will serve regular stops on 12th St. at Oak St. and on T. L. Berkley Way (20th St.) and Telegraph Ave., but not regular stops between those points.
Line 18 to Montclair will serve regular stops on T. L. Berkley Way (20th St.) at Telegraph Ave. and on 11th St. at Jackson St., but not regular stops between those points.
Line 26 to MacArthur BART will serve regular stops on 10th st. at Jackson St. and 14th St. at Brush St., but not regular stops between those points.
Line 26 to Lakeshore Ave. will serve regular stops on 14th St. at Martin Luther King Jr. Way and 11th St. at Madison St., but not regular stops between those points.
Line 40 to Eastmont Transit Center/Bay Fair BART will begin from 11th St. at Harrison St, but will not serve stops before that.
Line 40 to downtown Oakland will end at 12th at Harrison St. and layover on 11th St.
Line 51A to Rockridge BART will serve the regular stop on Broadway at 20th St., but not regular stops in downtown Oakland before this point.
Line 51A to Alameda will serve regular stops on Broadway at 20th St. and on 7th St. at Franklin St., but not regular stops between those points.
Lines 72, 72M, and 72R to Richmond will serve regular stops on T. L. Berkley Way (20th St.) and Telegraph Ave., and at the beginning of the lines, but not regular stops between these points.
Lines 72, 72M, and 72R to Jack London Square will serve regular stops on T. L. Berkley Way (20th St.) and Telegraph Ave., and at the beginning of the lines, but not regular stops between these points.
Line 88 to Berkeley BART will serve regular stops on 12th St. at Harrison St. and on 12th St. at Martin Luther King, Jr. Way but not regular stops between these points.
Line 88 to Lake Merritt BART will serve regular stops on 11th St. at Brush St. and at the end of the line at Lake Merritt BART, but not regular stops between these points.
Line 800 to San Francisco will serve regular stops on Telegraph Ave. at W. Grand Ave. and on 7th St. at Center St. (W. Oakland BART Station), but not regular stops between these points.
Line 800 to downtown Oakland/Richmond will serve regular stops on 7th St. at Center St. (W. Oakland BART Station) and on Telegraph Ave. at 24th St., but not regular stops between these points.
Line 801 to downtown Oakland will serve its last regular stop on 12th St. at Harrison St., but not regular stops after this point.
Line 801 to Fremont BART will begin serving regular stops on International Blvd. at 2nd Ave., but regular stops before this point.
Line 802 to Berkeley Amtrak will begin serving regular stops on San Pablo Ave. at W. Grand Ave.
Line 802 to downtown Oakland will stop making regular stops on San Pablo Ave. at W. Grand Ave.
Line 805 to the Oakland Airport will begin serving regular stops on Grand Ave. at Park View Terrace.
Line 805 to downtown Oakland will stop making regular stops on
Grand Ave. at Park View Terrace.
Line 840 to Eastmont Transit Center will begin serving regular stops on E. 15th St. at 3rd Ave.
Line 840 to downtown Oakland will stop making regular stops on Foothill Blvd. at 2nd Ave.
