Bus Fares Change August 1st

AC Transit fares change on Monday, August 1. The local adult cash fare increases by 10 cents to $2.10, and the local cash fare for youth, seniors, and persons with disabilities increases by 5 cents to $1.05. Transbay fares rise to $4.20 for adults and $2.10 for youth, seniors, and persons with disabilities.

The local youth 31-Day pass goes up from $15 to $20, and the transbay adult 31-Day pass increases from $132.50 to $151.20.  The local adult 31-Day pass and the senior/disabled RTC Monthly Pass remain at $80 and $20, respectively.  A new 7-Day pass will be introduced later this year or in early 2012.

There are no changes to transfer prices or policies.
