The 31-Day Youth bus pass is available on a Clipper Youth card and costs $20 for unlimited local trips. If you do not purchase a 31-day pass, you can add cash to the Clipper Youth card and pay the $1.05 one-ride fare with it.
If you already have a Clipper Youth card, be sure to keep it and use it this year! The same card is good for use every year until you turn 19, so there’s no need to get a new one at the beginning of each school year.
Clipper Youth Card Requirements
A Clipper Youth card, issued by AC Transit, is personalized with your photo and requires proof of qualifying age. Applicants must be 5 – 18 years old and apply for the card in person. Once you submit a completed application form with proof of age, and have your photo taken, AC Transit staff will verify your information. You can expect your Clipper Youth card by mail within approximately 14 calendar days.
