Minor service changes begin on March 25

Service changes on several bus lines go into effect Sunday, March 25.
Line | Description of Changes |
---|---|
31 | Web sites and mobile applications will no longer show an incorrect stop on Midway Avenue at Saratoga Street. They will show the correct stop around the corner on Saratoga Street at Midway Avenue. (This has been corrected to show that it is a change in information only.) |
37 | One additional trip added in the counterclockwise direction on weekdays. Other minor schedule adjustments. |
48 | Buses will no longer stop on Castro Valley Boulevard at Center Street. Passengers should use the stop across the street on Center Street at Ravenswood Place. Other minor schedule adjustments. |
215 | End of line in the Fremont industrial area moved around the corner. The new end of line will be at a new stop on Landing Parkway at Warren Avenue. |
242 | Several stops along Stevenson Boulevard moved from the frontage road to the main road. Other minor schedule adjustments. |
345 | New stop added on Mission Boulevard, heading northbound, at Gurdwara Drive. Service formerly entering the California Terrace neighborhood to serve the Gurdwara Sahib, Fremont (Sikh temple), moved to Mission Boulevard. |
OX | Line OX will accept passengers traveling to and from San Francisco only. Passengers traveling within the East Bay should ride other lines along the route, such as lines 21, 631 or O. |
Other | Minor schedule adjustments also made to lines 1, 1R, 14, 20, 32, 58L, 62, 83, 93, 95, 99, 210, 212, 216, 232, 251, 264, NL, and O. |
In addition, several changes to bus stops affecting multiple lines will be made in the AC Transit service area:

Center Street at Gem Street, Castro Valley | Stops removed serving lines 48, NX4, and NXC. Passengers should use stops on Center Street at Circle Street. |
Mission Boulevard at Holy Sepulchre Cemetary, Hayward | Stop serving lines 22, 99, and 801 moved north across the cemetary driveway. |
New schedules and route maps will be available at www.actransit.org by March 5. Look for new pocket timetables on your bus one week before March 25. For specific questions, call 511 and say, “AC Transit,” or use the online form.
