Minor service changes begin August 19

Service changes on several bus lines go into effect Sunday, August 19.
| Line | Description of Changes |
| 609 | Line discontinued. Lines 71 and 74 provide alternative service. |
| 614 | Line discontinued. Lines 98 and 45 provide alternative service. |
| 624 | Morning service northbound, to Hopkins Junior High School and Mission San Jose High School, discontinued. Afternoon service will not be affected. |
| 627 | Line discontinued. Lines 232, 251, 264 and 275 provide alternative service. |
| 640 | Line discontinued. Line 40 provides alternative service. |
| 658 | (Updated) Formerly, all Line 658 afternoon trips left Skyline High School at the same time. Trips will now be staggered, with three trips each leaving ten minutes apart. |
| 663 | Trip to Encinal High School leaving Broadway and Blanding Ave. at 8:10 a.m. discontinued. Other trips will not be affected. |
| 670 | Line discontinued. |
| 673 | Line discontinued. Line 71 provides alternative service. |
| 674 | Line discontinued. Line 74 provides alternative service. |
| 677 | Line discontinued. Line 76 provides alternative service. |
| 685 | Line discontinued. Line 70 provides alternative service. |
| Other | Minor schedule adjustments made to lines 1R, 12, 14, 18, 20, 21, 45, 58L, 76, 350, 605, 620, 625, 641, 669, 671, 676, 688, NL, NX4, and U. |
In addition, one change to a bus stop affecting multiple lines will be made in the AC Transit service area:

| Warm Springs Blvd. & Scott Creek Road, Fremont | Lines 217, 239 and 623 will no longer serve this stop. Board these lines on Warm Springs Blvd. at Tonopah Drive or on Milpitas Blvd. at Firethorn Street. |
New schedules are available at www.actransit.org. Look for new pocket timetables on your bus one week before August 19 (except for lines NX3 and U, and 600-series lines, which are available online only). For specific questions, call 511 and say, “AC Transit,” or use the online form.
