Mobile Apps Make Riding AC Transit a Breeze!

Got a smart phone? If so, getting route information for AC Transit has never been easier. There are literally dozens of third-party apps out there providing all kinds of information and tools to make riding the bus a breeze — from real-time departures, to stop locations and trip planning.

Of course weeding through all these apps can be as overwhelming as browsing the cereal aisle in your local supermarket. While AC Transit has not tested all of the apps we know about and does not recommend one over the other, we have created a page to centralize and showcase the options . . . and we’ll be adding to the list as we catch wind of new ones. We’ve got price information (don’t worry, many are free!) and we’ve organized them by smart phone compatibility.
