Last Chance to See Archaeology Exhibit at AC Transit

News Articles
10/23/2012

There’s still some time to see the Transbay Transit Center archaeology exhibit at AC Transit. On display since early July, the exhibit was extended through the end of October and will move on to Caltrans, also in downtown Oakland, on Monday, October 29. There’s an amazing selection of artifacts found at the construction site of the new Transbay Transit Center in downtown San Francisco.

You’ll view a slice of life from 19th century San Francisco, including items from China, Germany, England, and Ireland. Even then, San Francisco was an international hub! You can view the exhibit in the AC Transit lobby, located at 1600 Franklin Street in Oakland, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Swing by and take a peek before it moves on the 29th!
