Contractors Invited to BRT Outreach Event March 1

News Articles
02/20/2013

All interested contractors are invited to attend an East Bay Bus Rapid Transit (BRT)Contractor Outreach event on Friday, March 1, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., at AC Transit’s General Offices, 1600 Franklin Street in downtown Oakland.

BRT project staff will offer an overview of upcoming opportunities for construction and construction-support contracts that AC Transit anticipates awarding over the next three or more years. The BRT project will bring signature roadway, station, and landscape improvements to one of the region’s busiest transit corridors, extending from downtown Oakland to downtown San Leandro along International Blvd. and East 14th Street. In the course of construction, AC Transit will be seeking the support of an array of contractors to make this largescale project a success.

Space is limited at the March 1 event and firms are limited to two attendees. Please RSVP to Phillip McCants, Contracts Compliance, at pmccants@actransit.org to reserve your seat.

See more information on the BRT project.
