District Engages Transit Customers, General Public
The AC Transit Board of Directors will hold its next regularly scheduled meeting Wednesday, October 14 at 5 p.m. in the El Cerrito City Council Chambers, located 10890 San Pablo Avenue. By taking their meetings on the road, the district provides bus riders and residents a more convenient opportunity to attend and participate.
The meeting will include a presentation on the District’s Service Expansion Plan, a set of comprehensive recommendations for increased reliability, more frequent service and improved connectivity. In addition, the agenda includes reports on:
• Procurement of double deck buses
• Three-position bicycle racks
• Future fleet needs of the District
The full meeting agenda and materials are now posted on the District’s website at actransit.org.
As at all board meetings, members of the public may comment on any item on the agenda. The public may also speak during “Public Comment” at the beginning of the meeting on items not on the agenda. All speakers are asked to fill out speaker forms, available at the meeting.
