Service changes effective Sunday, December 20
AC Transit is making a modest series of service changes on selected lines this December that will improve connections and on-time performance, and reduce overcrowding.
Highlights of the changes:
- Additional trips are being put in place on lines 217 and 239 in order to accommodate continued heavy ridership to Northwestern Polytechnic University (NPU) in Fremont.
- Refinements are being made to schedules on transbay lines C, FS, H, J, and O in order to reduce crowding.
- Schedule changes on lines 7, 25, and 65 will better serve students at Berkeley High School. Also, Line 7 will have a modest increase in frequency.
- Line 822 is being discontinued due to low ridership.
