The Dumbarton Corridor Improvement Project aims to improve reliability and reduce travel times for transit service. The Project will include the installation of a Transit Signal Priority (TSP) system, bus queue-jumps and bus-stop improvements and relocations with the intention of improving safety and travel times and reduce vehicle emissions along the Dumbarton Express corridor (aka State Route 84). These improvements will ensure that the corridor in the cities of Union City, Fremont, Menlo Park and Palo Alto provides transit services that better connect residents and businesses in the South Bay to job centers in the East Bay and on the Peninsula.
Please check the Project webpage for complete details.
The Project is funded by the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC), Alameda County Transportation Commission (ACTC) Measure B, California Climate Investment Low Carbon Transit Operations Program (LCTOP) Funds and Stanford University.
