Planning and Scheduling
Determining the types and levels of service for each community begins with planning and scheduling. Evaluating ridership patterns, communicating with local governments, and assessing overall demand for AC Transit’s service is essential to the development of a service that will benefit as many riders as possible. Using a variety of analytic tools and resources, along with historic precedence, planning and scheduling balances limited resources with a fundamental responsibility to the communities AC Transit serves. Over the course of this year, additional materials will be added to this site to broaden the picture of AC Transit’s planning efforts.
