"Going Places, Making Choices": Quiz for Students on Good Bus Behavior

Congratulations, Students! You're being self-sufficient when you go places on AC Transit rather than waiting for someone to take you to school, to the game, or over to your friend's house. It's an easy way to get yourself around--and it's also a privilege of independence. Your positive behavior on the bus makes a difference for everybody. So love your bus!

Read through the rules and then take the quiz!

Leave no artifacts. Tagging buses or bus stops could require you to cash out for damages.

Keep it clean. Always take your own trash off the bus.

Please don't stop the music. Just wear headphones, because playing music without them is not allowed. And check your headphone volume so that other riders can't hear your tunes.

The poles are not for dancing. Engaging in sexual behavior or indecent exposure on the bus is prohibited.

Pay what you owe. It's not a free ride . . . pay your $1 or use a valid ticket.

Keep it down. Stop with the loud talking and yelling on the bus. Besides, do you really want everyone to know your business?

Talk quietly on cell phones. If you can't hear or have to talk loud on your phone, maybe send a text message instead.

Don't do it. Smoking, eating, or drinking on the bus is prohibited.

Be cool. You have better things to do than pushing or fighting on the bus.

Listen up. The bus driver is in charge. So when you are asked to do something, you need to do it.
