Title VI Analysis of May 2005 Fare Proposals
In March 2005, the AC Transit District Board of Directors directed staff to solicit public input on a variety of fare proposals intended to raise revenue in order to meet projected budget shortfalls. Part of the decision making process includes a Title VI analysis to assess how each proposal will affect different rider populations, as well as determine if any of the fare proposals result in disproportionately high and adverse effects on minority populations and low-income populations within the District.
