Transit Vision

Strategic Vision

Working with community groups and our riders, we developed a plan that would provide the East Bay with a truly world-class transit system. This plan, known as the Strategic Vision, combines service enhancements and fare changes to improve mobility for the entire community. Unlike our Short Range Transit Plan, the Strategic Vision requires significantly more funds than are currently available. AC Transit is using the Strategic Vision to help advocate with state and federal officials for making the plan a regional priority. We will continue to work with local partners to find a way to implement the Vision and improve the quality of life for East Bay residents.
