Transit Driver Appreciation Day 2023

Bus operators keep our communities moving. Through heatwaves and atmospheric rivers, they were and are with us every step of the way. On Transit Driver Appreciation Day, we recognize and honor their dedication in giving 100%, every day.

Started in 2009 by transit passengers in Seattle, Transit Driver Appreciation Day is a national event that recognizes the skills and talents bus operators bring to public transit every day. Celebrated on March 18, it has become an occasion to inspire passengers and transit enthusiasts to thank operators.
