Register and Vote

AC Transit encourages you to exercise your Constitutional right to vote this year!  Registering for and voting in an election is easy.

STEP 1: REGISTER TO VOTE

The deadline to register for the November General Election is Monday, October 24, 2022. Register online at RegisterToVote.ca.gov or pick up a form at the library, Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), county elections office or the post office.

STEP 2: VOTE!

Election Day is Tuesday, November 8, 2022.  All registered voters will receive a vote-by-mail ballot in the mail.  Voters are encouraged to vote by mail.  Your mail-in ballot must be postmarked on or before November 8.

You can also cast your vote at a secure ballot drop box.  Outdoor ballot drop boxes are available 24 hours a day / seven days a week and will be available until 8:00 p.m. on Election Day.
