AC Transit is a special transit district created by the State ofCaliforniain legislation passed in 1955.  Located in Oakland, California in the beautiful Bay Area, AC Transit is one of the largest bus only public transit agencies inCaliforniaand theUnited States, serving over 69 million passengers a year throughout a 360-square mile region.
