Notice of Vacancy: Bicycle & Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC)
AC Transit is seeking one volunteer representative to serve on the Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC) of the Alameda County Transportation Commission (ACTC). The selected individual will represent AC Transit and provide input on bicycle and pedestrian planning, including updates to the Countywide Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan and improvements to related projects and programs in Alameda County.
Vacancy
- One open seat representing AC Transit. Please see more details in the Notice of Vacancy.
Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Be a resident of Alameda County
- Regularly use AC Transit bus service
- Live within AC Transit’s service area (including Albany, Berkeley, Emeryville, Oakland, Alameda, San Leandro, Hayward, Fremont, Piedmont, Newark, Castro Valley, San Lorenzo, Cherryland, Ashland, or Fairview)
Term & Meetings
- Two-year term
- Quarterly meetings (typically the second Thursday, 5:30–7:30 p.m.)
- Meetings are open to the public
Training Requirements
Appointees must complete:
- 2 hours of ethics training

2 hours of fiscal/financial training
(Within 6 months of appointment and every two years thereafter)
