Enjoy a Holly Jolly Bus Ride on Our Free Holiday Bus
However you’re spending winter this year, our free Holiday Bus is in service to serve you a cup of cheer! From now until the stroke of midnight on December 31, our specially wrapped Holiday Bus is offering free rides on different local lines throughout the East Bay.
The tradition of a free-ride Holiday bus began in 1963—just three years after AC Transit began service. This year’s bus wishes you a holly jolly bus ride and features a snowy landscape which is sure to get you into the winter spirit.
As an added thank you for your continued ridership and support, we’ve created some fun Holiday Bus gifts! While you’re on the Holiday Bus, grab some of our mini paper homes, restaurants, and buildings to build your own East Bay village. For even more Holiday Bus swag, keep an eye on our social media channels or stop by our Customer Service Center in Oakland.
