Notice of Intention to Amend the Conflict of Interest Code of the Alameda-Contra Costa Transit District
Notice is hereby given that the Alameda-Contra Costa Transit District pursuant to the authority vested in it by section 87306 of the Government Code, proposes amendment to its conflict of interest code. A comment period has been established commencing on June 16, 2021 and closing on July 30, 2021.
The Alameda-Contra Costa Transit District proposes to amend its conflict of interest code to include employee positions that involve the making or participation in the making of decisions that may foreseeably have a material effect on any financial interest, as set forth in subdivision (a) of section 87302 of the Government Code. Changes to the conflict of interest code include: the addition of new positions, the removal of abolished positions, and changes to the disclosure categories for various positions. Statement of Economic Interest – Form 700
The Political Reform Act requires officials and employees whose positions are designated in the agency’s conflict-of-interest code to file a Statement of Economic Interests/California Form 700 when assuming or leaving office and on an annual basis. Click here to view the Conflict of Interest Code.

Gift to Agency Reports – Form 801
Gifts to an agency are reported via FPPC Form 801 which is used to disclose payments made to the District when the payments provide a personal benefit to an official of the District. Examples may include travel, meals, and other benefits. Under certain circumstances, these payments will not result in a gift to the official, but will be considered a gift to the District provided that the payments are used for official District business and meet the requirements set forth in FPPC Regulation 18944.2, which is available on the FPPC website at www.fppc.ca.gov.
Public Official Appointments – Form 806
Form 806 reports additional compensation that officials receive when appointing themselves to positions on other boards, commissions or committees of another public agency. Each agency must post a single Form 806 listing all paid appointed positions including the date appointed, length of term and stipend amount.
