November Employees of the Month
Keeping AC Transit buses on the road and running smoothly takes hard work and dedication. Each month, the District recognizes the outstanding service of drivers and mechanics by awarding “Employee of the Month” honors in the Supervision, Maintenance, and Transportation divisions.
Supervisors at the Central Maintenance Facility and AC Transit’s four bus divisions—Emeryville, Richmond, East Oakland, and Hayward—nominate candidates. Superintendents then review the nominations and select one transportation and one maintenance employee from each division, along with one from the Central Maintenance Facility.
Honorees receive a gift certificate to a local restaurant in appreciation of their contributions.

Johnathan
Transportation Supervisor

Robert
Journey Level Mechanic
Robert is an invaluable member of the CMF Maintenance team, playing a vital role in the District’s Clean Truck Vehicle Emissions Program, new coach inspections, and reporting. In addition to these responsibilities, he continues to demonstrate his dedication and expertise as a Journey-Level Mechanic and JAC Team member. His commitment, versatility, and contributions are greatly appreciated. Thank you, Robert, for your continued hard work and dedication to the District and the CMF team!

Bus Operator
Emeka is one of our most motivated and dedicated team members. He consistently brings enthusiasm and a strong willingness to help whenever needed. His positive attitude is an invaluable asset to our team. AC Transit is truly fortunate to have Emeka representing its organization!

Jonathan
Service Employee
Jonathan is a valued member of the AC Transit team who consistently leads by example and approaches every task with dedication and initiative. He proactively addresses challenges, such as excessive dust in coaches and trip hazards in the yard, to ensure a safer, cleaner work environment. His strong work ethic, problem-solving skills, and commitment to excellence have earned him recognition as a leader at Division 4.

Dispatcher/ Acting Chief Dispatcher
LaDonna stepped up and exceeded our expectations in Dispatch. She successfully coordinated several bus bridges, while keeping the Dispatch Team organized, and maximized service on the road. We are grateful for her leadership and proud to recognize her as our Employee of the Month!
