Journey Level Mechanic

Dass has excelled in supporting the Hybrid bus fleet throughout the past month. He has been instrumental in replacing high-voltage battery packs and repairing high-voltage cables, helping maintain the reliability of the hybrid buses. As a primary mechanic for hybrid bus repairs, Dass is always ready to help his colleagues and support the division. His commitment, technical expertise, and dependability ensure that repairs are carried out safely and efficiently.  

Frank

Bus Operator

Frank is a dependable team member who consistently demonstrates professionalism in his roles as Bus Operator and Dispatcher. He serves as a reliable link between operators and the back office, supports daily operations, and willingly assists with coverage needs. His positive attitude and strong work ethic make him a valued team member and an asset to the District. 

Kyle

Journey Level Mechanic

Kyle is a highly valued member of the D3 team and a tremendous asset to AC Transit. His strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to support others have earned him the trust and respect of everyone in the shop. As the weekend Lead person, Kyle consistently steps up to ensure operations run smoothly and plays a vital role in the success of the late shift. His leadership, dedication, and team-first mindset make him an important part of the D3 family.

David consistently delivers exceptional work on the District’s most challenging shift, ensuring that service runs smoothly for both operators and the public. When Division 4 earned recognition for the quarter, David’s efforts were a major contributor to 
that success.

Bus Operator

Cassandra consistently goes above and beyond to support her fellow Operators and delivers exceptional customer service to our community. As an active and dependable Assistant Shop Steward for Local ATU 192, she has shown unwavering dedication to her colleagues. Cassandra shared that she loves to “support and advocate for her coworkers,” and she truly embodies that commitment each day. We’re grateful for the example she sets and the positivity she brings.

Manuel is an exceptional asset and leader for Division 6, consistently demonstrating professionalism, dedication, and outstanding craftsmanship. He efficiently prioritizes bus accident repairs to ensure quality work and timely turnaround. Most recently, he played a key role in onboarding a new body shop technician.
