AC Transit Service Changes Effective Sunday, August 8

AC Transit Service Changes Effective Sunday, August 8

July 27,2021

AC Transit is expanding services in preparation for return to the office, schools, and to the many Bay Area goods and services we rely on every day. The service changes include addition of operating hours on local and Transbay lines and reactivation of Supplementary Service to schools, while improving reliability, and expanding capacity by adding larger buses on select lines.

In addition, we recently implemented systemwide improvements, and we’re working on countless more. They include enhanced cleaning and ventilation protocols, face masks and hand sanitizer dispensers onboard, and offering more contactless payment options. Check out how we’re working around the clock to stay ready for you: actransit.org/covid-19

The new line schedules and maps will be updated and posted on the AC Transit website soon. In the meantime, our full listing of bus line timetables is available online here or can be requested at the AC Transit Customer Service Center at 1600 Franklin Street in downtown Oakland. If you need additional information, please contact our Customer Call Center at (510) 891-4777 or use this online form.
