To prepare for fall and the start of the school year, AC Transit will be implementing service changes on Sunday, August 9. The following is a summary of the changes for the fall.
Highlights of changes:
- Lines 600–699, and trips on other routes that provide extra service to schools, resume for the fall.
- West Oakland BART stops relocated out of the station to 7th St. and Mandela Parkway in preparation for the beginning of construction of the transit-oriented development at the station.
- Line 60’s last stop at CSU East Bay will change to East Loop Road at Recreation and Wellness Center. The West Loop Road at Cal State East Bay Library stop will be served on trips to South Hayward BART.
- Schedule changes on many lines; see chart.
Changes effective Sunday, June 14:

| 57 | Weekday trips to Foothill Square before 6 am adjusted three minutes later. After 6 am, trips adjusted six minutes later. Weekday trips to Emeryville before 6 pm adjusted one minute later. After 6 pm, trips adjusted two minutes later. Minor Saturday changes throughout in both directions. Trips that provide extra service to schools resumed. |

| 627, 629 | Monday, Tuesday, and Friday afternoon trips leave Newark Memorial High School one minute later. Wednesday and Thursday afternoon trips leave Newark Memorial High School two minutes later. |
| 646 | All Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday trips will leave King Estates Complex at 2:30 pm. All Wednesday trips will leave King Estates Complex at 12:45 pm. |
