Service Changes Effective Sunday, December 3

AC Transit is making service changes that will take effect on Sunday, December 3.

Line 33 will have three trips added between 6-9 pm in each direction to better match peak demand. Six additional weekday trips will be added on Line 86. Schedule changes on many lines, including several Supplementary Service to School lines. See the table below for full details.

Highlights of changes:

Trips added to lines 33, 67, 76, 86, 212, 604, 623, J, NX, O, and V.
Line 676 extended to Richmond BART from Contra Costa College.
Line 800 shortened in San Francisco, no longer serving Mission St.
All Supplementary Service to Schools printable timetables updated.

Line	Description of Changes
6	Before 7 am on weekdays, there will be five fewer trips to Downtown Berkeley and four fewer trips to Downtown Oakland. After 7 pm on weekdays, there will be three more trips to Downtown Berkeley. After 8 pm weekdays, there will be one additional trip to Downtown Oakland and the last trip will depart at 12:37 am rather than 12:57 am. Schedule changes throughout.
12	Weekday service will begin 10 minutes earlier. All subsequent times adjusted 10 minutes earlier to better match bell schedules for Berkeley High School and Oakland Technical High School.
33	Three trips added on weekdays between 6 and 9 pm in each direction to better match afternoon peak demand. Minor schedule changes on weekdays to Montclair.
39	New Wednesday school-days only trip leaving Skyline High School at 3 pm.
67	Northbound service to Spruce St. & Grizzly Peak Blvd. will begin at 7:12 am, adding two trips in the morning. Service to Downtown Berkeley will begin earlier, at 7:22 am.
76	Restored school-days only trip leaving El Cerrito del Norte BART at 7:43 am.
86	On weekdays, six additional trips throughout the day in each direction.
88	Weekday and weekend schedules to Downtown Berkeley will be different. Minor schedule changes throughout the weekday schedule.
97	Minor schedule changes to school-day only trips on service to Bay Fair BART.
212	Five additional trips on weekday service to Fremont BART. Last trip will leave Pacific Commons at 9:43 pm. Two additional trips in the morning and evening to Pacific Commons. First trip will leave Fremont BART at 6:15 am and last trip will leave Fremont BART at 9:15 pm.
215	New terminal at Landing Parkway and Warren Ave.
239	After the first two trips in the morning, trips to Fremont BART will begin on North Milpitas Blvd. and Dixon Road.
604	Friday trip leaving Oakland Hebrew Day School shifted earlier to depart at 2:10 pm.
623	Additional trip leaving Irvington High School at 3:22 pm.
624, 641	Trips starting at Hopkins Middle School will leave five minutes later. Line 624 trips from Hopkins Middle School will end at Paseo Padre Parkway and Mission Blvd.
651	Morning trip to Oakland Technical High School will leave five minutes earlier at 8:01 am. One Wednesday afternoon trip from Oakland Technical High School will leave two minutes earlier at 3:03 pm.
657	The Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday trips starting from Eastmont Transit Center will leave one minute earlier at 7:41 am. The Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday trips starting from 42nd St. & Broadway will leave three minutes earlier at 3:50 pm.
669	Early Wednesday schedule from De Anza High School changed to an early Friday trip. New Monday through Thursday schedule will leave De Anza High School ten minutes earlier than the current Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday schedule.
671	Early Wednesday schedule from De Anza High School changed to two early Friday trips. Current Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday trip changed to two Monday through Thursday trips.
675	The Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday trips starting from El Cerrito High School at 2:17 pm will leave 16 minutes earlier at 2:01 pm.
676	Line extended to Richmond BART from Contra Costa College. Schedule changes to match bell schedules.
684	Afternoon trips starting from Scott St. & Donal Ave. will now start on Donal Ave. and Norvell St. Schedule changes on those two trips.
687	Wednesday afternoon trips will leave seven minutes earlier at 2:05 pm. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday schedule adjusted to match current operating schedule.
800	Line shortened in San Francisco, no longer serving Mission Street. First stop is at Market St. and South Van Ness Ave. Schedule changes made to reflect new routing.
805	First trip leaving Eastmont Transit Center will leave three minutes earlier at 11:56 pm.
851	All trips will leave Fruitvale BART two minutes earlier with schedule changes until Downtown Oakland.
E	First trip to San Francisco will leave Parkwood Community 10 minutes earlier.
J	One trip to San Francisco added, leaving Sacramento St. & University Ave. at 5:50 am. One trip to Sacramento St. & University Ave. added, leaving San Francisco at 7:10 pm.
NX	One trip to San Francisco added, leaving MacArthur Blvd. & 56th Ave. at 6:10 a.m. The 6:50 am trip adjusted five minutes earlier, leaving at 6:45 am.
O	Trip to Fruitvale BART added between 5 pm and 6 pm.
V	One trip to San Francisco added, leaving College Ave. & Broadway at 6:10 am.
Other	Minor schedule changes are made on lines 20, 28, 29, 36, 40, 45, 51A, 51B, 52, 70, 71, 72, 72M, 74, 625, 626, 628, 629, 631, F, and U.
Transbay	Drop-off stops at Salesforce Transit Center may be different than where you board the bus. Normal boarding locations have not changed. Full changes here.

“Minor schedule changes” are those that move the times of bus trips earlier or later by a few minutes.
